這次要跟大家介紹一個歌手和他彈唱的幾首好歌
他的名字是Coffey
昨天在PTT吉他板上看到有人貼了一個Youtube的連結
如果你有在聽英文詩歌 你一定會很熟悉

根據Godtube上關於他生平的介紹：
他在德州的五旬節教會長大 10歲受洗
但16歲才真正接受耶穌成為他生命的主
他在國高中時就參與服事 在同輩間傳福音 也看見許多人得救
18歲時他參加監獄事工 在當中用唱的
對許多不斷尋覓 想找到生命中第二次機會並基督裡的新生命的受刑人來傳講福音
他走過遍及7個洲的15個監獄 而這只是他滿19以前的事
Coffey拒絕了許多公費的州立籃球大學名校 (編按:意思是他籃球很強?)
到了另一間大學(TPU)取得了神學的學位
在那裡接觸了吉他 也從那天(2002-)後再也沒放下過
他開始學習Vineyard(葡萄園)的敬拜和傳統詩歌 展露出他的天份
(編按:太純正了我的媽啊 我起雞皮疙瘩了)
在宿舍裡又彈又唱 然後查經班開始拜託他在小組裡帶領敬拜
並受邀在一些公開的場合唱一些歌曲
有次是在一場籃球比賽演唱國歌 然後跳球 (編按:他跳還別人跳!?)
融合了傳統詩歌、現代的敬拜和他想帶出的福音內涵
使敬拜對會眾來是穩固且有意義的(valid and relevant)
後來也拿到西班牙文的實際神學(practical-theology)學位
經過幾次搬遷 也在教會中有過許多(大部分是音樂上)的服事
他不僅是受過神學教育、拿到學位 更是用一顆真誠的心來接觸人
他應該發過三張專輯了 iTune上也應該找得到他的歌
anyway最後再給大家一首非常impressed me的歌
改編自Rihanna(雷哈娜)的Umbrella<(小雨傘)
聽過的人應該都會會心一笑 因為這把傘
變成了耶穌為我們的罪死在十字架上三天後復活的信息喔!!!!!!
